Yummy Antioxidant Smoothie to start the Day

1 cup of coconut milk (can be substituted for almond milk)

1/2 cup frozen or fresh pineapple or mango chunks

1 banana

1 tbsp coconut oil

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger

1 teaspoon chia seeds

Blend ingredients together and drink on an empty stomach in the morning.

Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumour, anti-bacterial and anti-viral activities. As a life-affirming individual, that’s as much anti- you’ll ever get!
