What Carol didn’t have time to explain is that we should rate the anxiety, the stress, the craving or whatever we are tapping for on a scale from 1 – 10 (ten being the most extreme), and again see how it changes with every round of EFT. Often three rounds are enough to go down to 1 or even 0, sometimes it takes longer. The words naturally change too, as we always voice the current truth. As the symptoms ease, the words reflect the easing state, the lessening pain or discomfort.
