I have worked for 14 years with Dyslexic and Asperger geniuses one-on-one, founded Sydney Dyslexia and Autism Sydney, worked in Mosman and at a beach retreat at the Entrance and wrote three books on Dyslexia ('the Right Brain for the Right Time', 'Nurturing the Secret Garden' and 'Learning your Times Tables in Three Bold Steps'). I believe these children and adults have a great gift and the ability to become leaders in their field. But I have also found that a proper diet as well as educating and working together with parents, friends and teachers matters even more. I am now working with small groups at the Entrance Beach Retreat, helping dyslexic adults fulfill their professional dreams and parents to help develop and nurture their child's potential.

  1. Congratulations on your book ‘the Right Brian for the Right Time’ the first of more to come, you are an amazing person with an electric personality, the best Ambassador for Dyslexia.

Barbara’s book ‘the Right Brain for the Right Time’ needs to be read by those whom are involved with teaching our children in all areas of the education system. I am sure you will then have a better understanding of what it is like to be Dyslexic.

Congratulations once again and thank you. Love Leanna xx

  2. Hi Barbara,

We would just like to say what a terrific afternoon we both had at the launch of your new book “The Right Brain for the Right Time” last Sunday. Such a diverse group of friends took the time out to come up to North Entrance to wish you and the book great success.

You’re dedication to helping people with Dyslexia and Asperger is truly amazing. Your new book is yet another building block to be used to assist such people.

We wish you every success with the book and hope it is the first of many more to come.

We would also like to acknowledge the great support given to you by Josef. We are sure there must have been many times during the development of the book, that Josef was there by your side to offer encouragement and boost morale.

Kindest regards and thank you again for a “spirit lifting” weekend.

    Kim and Charmaine
