The year 2013 is almost over and I found it’s time to focus with new energy towards the year 2014…a year of Healing and Transformation. Workshops are planned to shed what needs to be shed and create a new way of being, looking, feeling and most of all for each one of us to express our unique talent. It’s time to shine!

How does ‘the Healing Code’ work – and why?

Your body can be likened to an electromagnetic field, but like any electrical fault in your own home, you’d notice that a switch in your fuse box went out. That would be a way for our visual brains to understand what the healing code can do: it turns the switch back on and the energy can run freely again – the body can do what it is designed to do: to heal itself.

Using our fingertips like little torches, all of them at the same time, aimed at and just above the four major centres of hormonal activity (above the third eye; above the Adams apple; then on either side of the face, at the end of the jawbone and slightly higher; just above the temples, next to the eyes) releases the stress from our bodies and mind, enabling our own healing capacities to do their work. Connected to the ‘third eye’, the area between your eyebrows, are the pituitary and the pineal gland. The Adams Apple is the area responding to the central nervous system, the thyroid and spinal cord. The end of the jaw includes the amygdala and the hippocampus. The area of the temples is connected to higher functions of our brain and the hypothalamus.

Our systems tend to function in a binary way. Either the fight & flight function is on, or the

healing/creativity/higher brain function. Stress stops us from accessing our higher brain, the frontal lobe and it stops our system from putting the energy into the functions needed to grow and thrive. Illness or dis-ease is vibrating on a certain frequency. If we are no longer vibrating at that frequency ourselves, we are no longer a match for that disease.

For simplicity’s sake, I just added the Hawaiian prayer, which is so simple and powerful. It is a silent repetition of four short sentences:

“I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”

Don’t over analyse them, as they don’t mean that you did something wrong and need to apologize. These four sentences are meant to address the higher self, which we so often ignore or are ignorant of. We are sorry that we don’t realize who we truly are. We ask for forgiveness for not using our talents and living our full potential. We thank in gratitude for everything and confirm that we love ourselves.

Once this path is clear, we can start to move to our authenticity, attracting what we really want and stand in the light, acting from the knowledge, that we are the masters of our reality. We will have honed our intuition, our guidance system and stilled our mind. Then the Law of Attraction can move easily and effortlessly to the Law of Goya (‘Get off your Ass’).

Then the action is inspired. The help usually doesn’t come from a voice booming out between clouds. After asking, it has to remain there, resting assured that the right process, the right book, person or teacher will appear, as you are ready to receive. When you see one path instead of many choices, you know that you are looked after.

Nut Butter Balls

 1 cup sunflower seeds – toasted
 1 cup sesame seeds – toasted
 1 cup rolled oats
 1/3 cup dried cranberries
 2 cups almond butter or peanut butter
 1/3 cup honey
 1 cup toasted coconut – for coating
Put all ingredients except for coconut in a large bowl
Mix all ingredients with your hands. Form into balls.
Roll in toasted coconut
Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Keeps one week. May be frozen
